The Quinte Skyhawks have announced they raised $4,000 for the Three Oaks Foundation.
Funds were raised through the football team’s second annual Moms Tackle Fundraiser & 2026 Season Kickoff Party.
The event sees the moms of Skyhawks football players put on equipment and tackle their sons.
In a release, the Skyhawks thanked everyone who donated, attended, sponsored and supported the event.
The Skyhawks U12-U18 teams begin their season at home at Mary Anne Sills Park on Saturday.
