A local track star is celebrating a massive collegiate victory after helping Mount St. Mary’s University capture its first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship.
Quinte Legion Lynx member Aidan Crawford played a pivotal role in the win by scoring double-digit points during the two-day meet in Emmitsburg.
The freshman standout claimed a bronze medal in the javelin and placed fifth in discus to help the Mountaineers secure the school’s historic trophy.
To cap off the weekend, the MAAC officially named the Belleville native the conference’s MVP Rookie of the year.
