Gray skies and windy conditions didn’t keep people indoors Saturday for the annual Quinte Trash Bash.
In Belleville, the Chair of the city’s Green Task Force Barb Enright Miller said the turnout seemed on par with last year’s event.

The Quinte Trash Bash involves residents of Belleville, Quinte West, Tyendinaga Township and Prince Edward County.
Last year almost 10 tonnes of garbage was removed from roadways and parks.
Prince Edward County led the way with a total of 3.4 tonnes of trash collected.
