Draft plans to expand a subdivision have been approved in Prince Edward County.
During a Planning and Development committee meeting on Wednesday, council discussed the application regarding a draft plan of subdivision for a property in Ameliasburgh.
The development, named Watermark on the Bay, is located at the end of Navigation drive on a nearly 8 hectare property. Two phases of construction have already been completed, with this development representing the third stage of the subdivision. While the third phase was previously approved, the approval has since lapsed, requiring the development go through the approval process again.
The plans call to add 14 new single detached homes, along with some parkland and a storm water management pond.
Councillors voted to approve the plans, and forwarded the motion to the next session of council for final approval.
