A Belleville man was charged after a case of intimate partner violence.
On April 15th at around 2:28am, Belleville Police attended a home in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute.
It was reported that a woman was physically assaulted by a man who had choked her and ripped her pants.
As a result of police investigation, a 35-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – spousal
- Assault causing bodily harm – spousal
- Fail to comply with a probation order
He was held for a bail hearing.
