The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton collaborated with the Ontario Provincial Police in the rescue of an injured person at a remote location in Calabogie.
A CH-146 Griffon helicopter belonging to the 424th Squadron of 8 Wing Trenton was involved in the rescue.
Two Search and Rescue technicians were deployed to provide first aid on the ground and secure the person in preparation for their airlift.
The helicopter then took the person safely to local ambulance services.
