A Belleville resident has been charged after a child luring investigation in Prince Edward County.
Officers with Prince Edward County OPP began an investigation in mid-March after receiving reports of alleged luring and sexual offences.
32-year-old Kaitlin Farrell of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Sexual interference
- Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
Additionally, the accused was charged with supplying vapour product to a minor under the Smoke Free Ontario Act, 2017.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.
