A home was destroyed by fire in Quinte West Sunday night.
Around 6:30 p.m., members of the Tuckers Corners Frankford stations, Hastings Quinte Paramedics, the OPP, and Hydro One responded to Frankford Road in Sidney Ward.
Fire Chief John Whalen says as crews approached the house, the front window blew out.
The blaze took about an hour to get under control and thankfully there were no injuries.
Fire members rescued two cats from the basement.
No damage estimate or cause at this time and the blaze is under investigation.
