New hockey team for Brighton

There is going to be an exciting addition to the Brighton and area hockey scene next season.

The Greater Metro Hockey League will welcome the Brighton Vikings as its fifteenth team when the new season begins.

The Vikings will play out of the King Edward Park Arena.

The team’s logo will be unveiled and more information made available at Brighton’s Sport and Recreation Showcase on April 25.

The league also features the Northumberland Stars, who play out of the Keeler Centre in Colborne.
