Highway 401 west in Quinte West was down to one lane for more than an hour Monday night due to a car fire.
Quinte West Fire responded to a fully-involved vehicle fire between County Road 40 (Wooler Road) and Glen Miller Road just after 9:30 p.m.
Fire Chief John Whelan says there were a few tense moments before the driver was located.
No one was injured.
