Correctional Service Canada says over $1.5 million in contraband and unauthorized items were seized at Collins Bay Institution.
In a release, the CSC says that between February 16 and February 18, multiple packages containing the items were seized.
Among the items seized were tobacco, marijuana, MDMA, shatter (cannabis concentrate), edged weapons, as
well as cell phones and accessories.
The estimated institutional value of these seizures is approximately $1,578,970.
