A 46-year-old man has been charged in a sexual assault investigation in Belleville and police fear there may be more victims.
The investigation began on February 6.
Police say the victim met the suspect through an online dating app.
On February 7, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the city’s east end.
Danny Arsenault of Belleville was arrested and charged with:

Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Assault

Forcible confinement
He was held for a bail hearing.
Police are concerned that the suspect may have been engaging with other individuals online and may have more victims who have yet to come forward.
