Hastings County has taken a look at this year’s budget for Long-Term Care.
The Hastings/Quinte Long-Term Care Committee reviewed the new budget as part of their Wednesday meeting.
The department, which operates both Hastings Manor and Centennial Manor, saw its expenses rise 9.98%. After deducting provincial funding and other revenues, the costs for the facilities came $9,775,834 which was split among municipal partners.
After discussion, the committee voted to approve the budget and send it to council for final approval.
