The local United Way surpassed their goal of raising $50,000 to help strengthen the community.
Every dollar raised on Friday in the Booked and Bailed fundraiser will stay 100% local and support programs and agencies, right here at home.
Quinte News News Director Tim Durkin took part in the event.
The event is not over yet with final fundraising totals still to be announced.
