A team of Belleville youth were awarded the Judge’s Choice Award, as they competed at the First Robotics Decode competition on Saturday.
This is the first time the team competed in the event, and stood out to judges among the 19 competing teams for their enthusiasm, cooperation, and technical curiosity. The Judge’s Choice Award recognizes teams that demonstrate exceptional effort, teamwork, and spirit.
The team of Belleville students, named “Volt Zeppelin,” were supported by volunteer coaches from BCS Automation who donated their time and expertise to the program.
The team was also sponsored by BCS Automation, in an effort to spark early interest in robotics and give students hands-on experience with real-world technology.
