A 19-year-old has been located deceased following a house fire south of Odessa last week.
On January 29, 2026 shortly before 8:30 p.m., Lennox and Addington OPP, Loyalist Township Firefighters, multiple other fire departments and Lennox and Addington County Paramedics responded to a house fire on Millhaven Road, near Caton Road.
The home was engulfed in flames when emergency services arrived.
One person, who was initially unaccounted for, was located deceased during the subsequent investigation.
Firefighters remained on the scene for several days and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
