The good news is that Highway 401, both eastbound and westbound, is open to traffic Wednesday morning.
The bad news is that another round of lake effect snow squalls are likely starting in the midday and continuing into the evening.
Again, the squalls are expected along the 401 corridor and to the south.
On Tuesday, snow squalls caused multiple collisions along Hwy 401 in the Quinte region. OPP say at least 50 vehicles were involved.
Amazingly only three or four people were injured, none seriously.
