The City of Belleville is looking for more public input before council sets its capital budget for next year.
On Monday, the city released its draft 2026 capital spending plan totalling $55.5 million, a slight increase over last year’s $53.6 million budget.
Major projects include more work on Bridge Street East valued at $5 million and an extension to the North Riverfront Trail at $6.3 million.
The city has created an online survey for capital spending over the next 10 years and the public is invited to comment until November 3.
