The Centennial Secondary grad originally began in journalism and media.
“Had a really great opportunity to combine my love for media with my faith and I worked for five years for the Archdiocese of Toronto in their public relations and communications office.”
She felt called to enter religious life after interviewing a Sister of Life in Toronto.
“I was in my 20s at the time. As I was editing it (the interview), I was listening to her story over and over and over again. I experienced her joy and I saw the way that she loved God and the way that she loved others and it was totally new to me, but it was like it already felt familiar.”

“My religious order, the Sisters of Life, so really just to proclaim this truth that every human person is created good because they’re created by God and that every person is unique.”
She adds their goal is to help serve everyone for the greater good.
“We don’t serve people because we’re good, but because we see the goodness in the other. We’re here really just to be spiritual mothers and just to be open to receiving the person in front of us, one person at a time.”
