A person was hit by a train and killed yesterday afternoon in Cobourg.
The collision occurred near a rail crossing at Burnham Street and Westwood Drive at around 2 p.m.
An investigation continues by the Cobourg Police Service and the Chief Coroner’s Office.
Trains have resumed regular service.
