As the Belleville Senators gear up to take on the Rochester Americans this weekend, the B-Sens will be without a forward due to suspension.
The American Hockey League’s Player Safety Committee has announced that Hayden Hodgson has been suspended for two games after actions that took place against the Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday.
He was automatically suspended for one game under the AHL rules after being assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period and an additional game receiving a game misconduct in the same incident.
The suspension will take Hodgson out of Friday’s and Saturday’s games against the Rochester Americans.
