A Quebec man was charged after Quinte West OPP found two stolen vehicles in a sea container.
Officers conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 401 around 2 a.m. Wednesday checked on a tractor-trailer at the eastbound ONRoute in Quinte West and discovered the two stolen vehicles in a sea container on the trailer.
The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander and a 2024 Toyota Tundra had been reported stolen between February 2 and 7 from the Greater Toronto Area.
A 33-year-old male from Dollard-des-Ormeaux Quebec was arrested on two counts each of trafficking in property obtained by crime and possession property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
