A 25-year-old Port Hope man is facing charges after police were called for a weapons investigation.
At approximately 1:25 p.m., police were called to an address in the area of John Street and James Street for a male armed with a knife. Police arrived on scene, arrested the suspect and recovered the knife.
Twenty-five-year-old Port Hope resident, Julianno Petrella was charged with assault, assault with a weapon, carry concealed weapon and breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
