Hastings County is preparing to renew a set of agreements with local school boards to provide first aid and CPR training to students.
During Wednesday’s Hastings County Emergency Services Committee meeting, the committee discussed the renewal before voting to recommend to council that the renewals be approved.
The training agreements are with the Hastings Prince-Edward District School Board, and the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. The project is expected to cost $20,000.
The renewal was sent on to council for final approval.
