Trenval has distributed $32,500 in non-repayable CEED funding to support five impactful non-profit organizations in Belleville and Quinte West.
The Community Empowerment for Economic Development (CEED) funding program is designed to bolster initiatives that contribute to the growth and well-being of local communities.
The recipients are:
- Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary
- $10,000 for the relocation of the gift shop to the Sills entrance
- Children’s Safety Village
- $4,000 for a virtual fire safety program
- Quinte Museum of Natural History
- $10,000 for an upcoming Arctic Exploration Exhibit
- Pregnancy and Family Care Centre of Quinte West
- $3,500 for a laptop and desk for the client resource centre
- St Leonard’s Community Support, Prevention and Residential Services
- $5,000 for architectural drawings
CEED funding, administered by Trenval and supported by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), aims to drive strategic projects that uplift our community through local non-profit initiatives.
Officials with Trenval say they are excited to see how these grants will enhance the valuable services offered by local organizations and contribute to a thriving community.
