Lennox and Addington OPP are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a fire and homicide in Napanee.
A 67-year-old resident died in a residential fire on John Street on the evening of August 3.
Police arrested and charged 31-year-old Andrew James Thompson of Picton with first-degree murder, criminal harassment and four arson related charges.
L & A OPP are continuing the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and in conjunction with the OFM, the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
Investigators are asking anyone living in the area bordered by Thomas, East, Water and Richard streets in Napanee to check and submit any video they may have from August 3, between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
