The Trenton Golden Hawks have announced they have signed three local players for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
Defencemen Ty McCambridge & Matt Hicks and forward Gage Butcher were all signed to the Golden Hawks.
McCambridge is from Corbyville while Hicks and Butcher are both from Quinte West.
All three played for the AAA Quinte Red Devils, with Butcher and McCambridge playing for the Frankford Huskies last season.
“All three players were APs for OJHL teams last year with Matt and Ty being called up to play with the Hawks. They worked very hard to improve their games last season and have good hockey skills and dedication,” Head Coach and General Manager of the Trenton Golden Hawks, Derek Smith, says in a release.
“We look forward to them joining the team and developing their game. With strong veterans in our dressing room, these players have a great opportunity to learn and strive to be future leaders for the team.”
