The air will remain humid but it won’t be as stifling as it has been this week.
Environment Canada has lifted the heat warning that has been in effect for the last several days.
Still, Friday is expected to bring a high around 27 degrees with the humidex value as high as 35.
Thursday’s high was 28.5 at CFB Trenton though it felt closer to 40 degrees with the humidity factored in.
The weekend forecast is calling for a mostly cloudy sky with the chance of showers or thunderstorms.
Parts of southern and southwestern Ontario remain under a heat warning where scorching temperatures are expected to linger until Sunday.
