Over 100 Kennemetal workers who’ve been on strike since Friday will vote on a new contract offer, perhaps as early as today.
Negotiations between Local 5533 of United Steel Workers and the metalworks company continued over the weekend.
A union official tells Quinte News the company presented a new three-year contract offer for the membership to vote on.
The main issue in the dispute was wages.
Kennametal is located in the former Deloro Stellite plant on Dundas Street East in Belleville.
