Cocaine and other drugs were seized in a Project Renewal drug investigation this week.
On Wednesday, police conducted a traffic stop related to an ongoing drug investigation, seizing:
- 25 grams of Cocaine
- 2.1 grams of Methamphetamines
- 4.3 grams of Fentanyl
- Cellular device(s)
- Digital scales
- Packaging materials
- $110.85 Canadian currency
As a result of the investigation, three people were arrested and charged.
Thirty-year-old William Foster of Frankford, and 28-year-old Braeden Turner and 18-year-old Arianna King, both of Belleville, each face the following charges:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamines
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
King is also charged with three counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
King and Turner were both held for a bail hearing while Foster was released on an undertaking with a court date in June.
