A Quinte West man faces numerous charges related to firearms after a warrant was executed on English Settlement Road.
The warrant was executed on Wednesday by the OPP’s Bail Support Team with the assistance of Quinte West OPP, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit..
Thirty-year-old Justin Larue of Quinte West was charged with the following:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – four counts
- Failure to attend court
The accused remains in custody, with a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
