The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation held a donor appreciation event on Thursday at the Panelas Courtyard inside the hospital.
The event expressed profound gratitude for the support of the donors, and was focused on those achieving new recognition levels on the donor wall.
The event included several speakers, including former patients of the hospital, Bruce and Diana Faulds, who stressed the importance of community contributions to maintaining quality care at the hospital.
“People need to become a little more educated about the fact that hospital itself is funded by the government, but the equipment in the hospital is not and depends on the community,” Bruce said. “I encourage people to show their appreciation with some donations to help keep the equipment up to date and working.”
The event closed by recognizing the contributions of all donors to the foundation.
