Northumberland OPP has charged a 75-year-old man in a historical sex offence investigation in Trent Hills.
An alleged victim told police in February about an incident that occurred between 1972 and 1975 at a group home.
It’s alleged the victim was under the care of the accused.
After investigation, Allan Kerr of Trent Hills was charged with sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 14.
There is no statute of limitations on sexual offences and reports can be made to police at any time.
