Track and Field season is here and there will be plenty of activity working up to the Ontario High School Championships next month in London.
On Friday more than 1300 athletes took part in the Annual Track & Field Classic in Brockville and three members of the Quinte Legion Lynx club combined for seven medals, all gold.
Aidan Crawford of Eastside Secondary led the way with firsts in the Senior Boys Discus, Shot put and Javelin.
Sydney Johnson from Nicholson Catholic College captured gold and broke two meet records in the Jr. Girls Shot put and Discus.
And Kevin Salaudeen from Bayside Secondary won the Sr. Boys Long and Triple Jumps.
Next up is the Bay of Quinte Invitational meet this Friday on the Bruce Faulds Track and Mary Ann Sills Park.
