Quinte West has signed a memorandum of understanding with other local municipalities about their doctor recruitment programs, to avoid taking doctors from each other.
During Wednesday’s session of Quinte West Council, a memorandum of understanding was presented to councillors, to have the local doctor recruitment programs not target doctors already in agreements with one of the other local municipalities.
The Prince Edward County County Docs program, Quinte West Docs By the Bay Program, Belleville Doctor Recruitment Program and Hastings County Physician Recruitment Program are all covered in the agreement.
The motion passed council with no debate.
