May 1 is National Doctors’ Day.
Docs by the Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee is using the day to express its gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the doctors who serve Quinte West and Brighton.
Docs by the Bay Chair Phil Wild says the work of physicians is instrumental in maintaining the health and vitality of the community.
He says one way to show your appreciation on National Doctors’ Day is to nominate a doctor as a “Shining Star” of Care.
The program, run by the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, allows individuals to make a donation in honour of a physician who has made a difference in their life or the life of someone they know.
