It will be the Trenton Golden Hawks and Cobourg Cougars in the OJHL’s East Conference final.
Cobourg punched their ticket to Round 3 with a come-from-behind 5-3 victory over St. Mikes in Game 7.
Once again, Belleville native Trevor Hoskin led the way with two goals and two assists.
As he did during the regular season, Hoskin leads the OJHL in playoff scoring with nine goals and 25 points in 12 games.
The schedule for the next round isn’t out yet, however, there’s a good chance it will open Friday night in Trenton.
