A Belleville man faces a drug charge after an incident Monday.
At around 8 p.m., city police stopped a vehicle on Church Street. While the suspect vehicle was in the process of stopping, a man jumped out and ran away.
However, while on the run something fell out of the suspect’s pocket. It turned out to be a baggie with cocaine.
Officers caught up to the man quickly and arrested him, charging him with possession.
Travis Todhunter, 42, has a court date in May.
