The Match Madness Challenge, raising money for the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is back for a third year.
During the month of March, participating restaurants in Quinte West will each feature a special item on their menu with one dollar from every sale of that item going towards the purchase of priority medical equipment for Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Patrons can also collect a passport card and, by visiting all the participating restaurants, be entered for a chance to win a prize.
Lindsay Butcher Dodds, Operations and Community Impact Specialist at TMHF, expressed her enthusiasm saying, “The MATCH MADNESS CHALLENGE has become a regular celebration in our community, showcasing the fantastic collaboration between our local restaurants and Trenton Memorial Hospital. It’s heartening to see our community rallying together to make a difference in healthcare in our community.
The following Quinte West restaurants are taking part in Match Madness until March 31:
Smylies Your Independent Grocer: chicken tenders meal
Little Caesars Pizza Trenton: any large hot and ready pizza
Tomasso’s Italian Grille: penne diavolo
Subway Restaurants Trenton/Brighton: chicken/bacon footlong
Gogi Korean Grill: bulgogi
Brighton Gate Restaurant: fish & chips
The Counter Restaurant: turkey sammie (half or full)
Tiger Chicken and Ribs: chicken and rib combo
Mucho Burrito Trenton: any mucho sized burrito
TMHF has a $2 million fundraising goal for 2024 and expects the funds raised during Match Madness to contribute greatly to that.
