A driver will be without a vehicle and licence for the next little while after the vehicle he was driving was clocked at more than 40 kilometres over the speed limit in Belleville’s east end Tuesday.
An officer with the Belleville traffic unit was conducting radar along Old Highway 2 when a vehicle was clocked at 109 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
The vehicle was pulled over near Grass Boulevard by the officer and the 22-year-old Belleville man behind the wheel was charged with stunt driving.
He has an April 8 court date.
