The Haliburton Huskies defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks 6- 4 on Saturday Night.
Gianni DiVita, Thomas Kuipers, Caleb Van de Ven, and Ryan Cutler scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened the scoring in an action-packed first period that saw both teams tally two goals. In the second, the Huskies pulled ahead with a slim lead, scoring three times to the Golden Hawks’ two. In the third, a single unanswered goal by the Huskies extended their lead and gave them the win.
The Golden Hawks’ next game is on Monday against the Niagara Falls Canucks.
