Loyalist College has announced it will be holding a free event on February 26 that will feature HGTV’s Scott McGillivray.
McGillivray is the host of several series including Income Property, Moving the McGillivrays, Buyers Bootcamp and Scott’s Vacation House Rules.
“Building Brighter Futures” is an event that will allow attendees a chance to learn more about the different ways to success in the skilled trades industries through the eyes of McGillivray’s perspective in the home renovation industry.
“McGillivray’s trajectory illustrates how a career in skilled trades can be leveraged into opportunities for leadership, creativity and innovation,” Loyalist College President and CEO Mark Kirkpatrick said in a release.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our community to campus to hear about his unique road to success.”
The free event takes place at the Loyalist College gymnasium starting at 6 p.m.
It will coincide with the culmination of the Loyalist College Skills Competition and the winners will be announced at the event.
