There was a single vehicle rollover in the far east end of Belleville early Tuesday.
City police, firefighters, and Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services responded to the area of Old Highway 2 and Mitchell Road just before 2 o’clock in the morning.
A vehicle had slid off the road, hitting a hydro pole and ending up on its roof in a ditch.
Luckily, people in the vehicle suffered only minor injuries and were assessed on the scene by paramedics.
No charges were laid but police warn that with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark, road conditions
can change for the worse at any time.
