The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Haliburton Huskies 6-2 on Friday night.
Adam O’Marra, Ben Pickell, Taeo Artichuk, and Corbin Roach scored for the Golden Hawks with a hat trick by Adam O’Marra.
Most of the first period was scoreless before an unanswered goal by the Huskies late in the frame. The Golden Hawks came back in the second with a vengeance, racking up four unanswered goals of their own to build a commanding lead. In the third, the Huskies took their second goal of the night, before back-to-back goals by Adam O’Marra extended the Golden Hawks’ lead, and earned him a hat trick.
The Golden Hawks have today off before facing the Toronto Jr. Canadiens on Sunday.
