An 18-year-old from Alnwick-Haldimand Township has been charged following a late night investigation Monday.
Northumberland OPP were called to a property where the owner was leaving and something struck his rear window.
When officers opened an investigation, they observed the damage and charged Jason Mayer with mischief – destroy or damage to property.
He has a Cobourg court date.
