Lennox & Addington OPP have provided another update on an incident in Napanee Wednesday afternoon that involved a search for two individuals.
Just after 12:30 p.m., OPP attempted to stop a vehicle that Kingston police were unable to pull over resulting in two masked individuals fleeing on foot in the area of Dundas Street West and Slash Road.
Police originally reported two arrests were made but say officers arrested the driver without incident before he exited the vehicle.
The two other suspects were located hiding in a dumpster around 1:30 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, L&A County OPP has charged the following individuals:
George Maxwell, age 53, of Eldon Township:
Operation while prohibited
Failure to comply with undertaking – two counts
Flight from peace officer
Dangerous operation
Possession break-in instruments
Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
Kristopher Rose, age 35, of Huntsville:
Resist peace officer
Possession break-in instruments
Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
Jason Kell, age 38, of Trent Lakes:
Resist peace officer
Possession break-n instruments
Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
All three accused were held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee.
