It wasn’t a day of downpours Wednesday but it was a soggy one nonetheless and we ended up less than half a millimetre short of a rainfall record for a December 27.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 15.8 mm, or over a half an inch, of rain fell Wednesday.
The previous record for a December 27 in the Quinte area was 16.2 mm which was set 15 years ago in 2008.
