One of five people arrested on weapons and drug offences after an OPP raid on a residence in Napanee in August has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and breach of probation charges.
Napanee man Mark Austin, 57 at the time of his arrest August 10, was sentenced to a little over three years in prison just before Christmas. He had already spent time in custody on the charges.
Police seized suspected cocaine, brass knuckles, $7,000 in cash and scales on a Bridge Street East home.
The others arrested in the same incident, Brock Alkenbrack, Tracy Carroll, Patrick MacDonald, and Richard Palmer
remain before the courts.
