The United Way Hastings and Prince Edward is close to reaching its fundraising goal for this year’s campaign but donations are still needed and soon.
In an update Friday the United Way reports its campaign has raised $1.85 million, or 85%, of its $2.2 million goal.
The campaign received a major donation of $220,000 from Procter and Gamble Monday.
The campaign comes to a close in just five weeks.
