A Brighton teenager has been charged in connection with a four-month child pornography investigation.
Northumberland OPP began the investigation on August 14 following a report of a non-consensual distribution of an intimate recording in Brighton.
On Wednesday, December 20, the Crime Unit arrested a 17-year-old on charges of:
- Sexual Assault
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Imports, Distributes, Sells or Possesses for the Purpose of Distribution or Sale any Child Pornography
- Makes, Prints, Publishes or Possesses for the Purpose of Publication any Child Pornography.
The accused cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
